Getting here by car

Coming westbound on the M8 from Edinburgh, take the slip road towards Livingston. Continue on Livingston Road (dual carriageway) for about three miles until you reach Lizzie Brice Roundabout. Take the third exit on to the A71 westbound towards Kilmarnock. Continue on the A71 for about half a mile. At Crofthead Interchange, take the slip road off the A71 (down a hill) towards Murieston and Dedridge West. At the end of the slip road, take the first exit towards Murieston and Sports Facilities. Continue up the hill, the Scout Hall is the first junction on the right hand side, and keep left as you enter the junction.

Getting here by train

Livingston South Railway Station is a short walk from this location. The train is well connected to Edinburgh up until 22:16, and Glasgow Central: 23:26. Please check Scotrail’s timetable for latest journey times. Scotrail timetable for Livingston South (Glasgow Central via Shotts)

Getting here by bus service

The Murieston Circular service stops at Livingston Bus Station (at the Livingston Centre) and goes past the Scout Hall once an hour. It stops roughly every 15 minutes at Livingston South Railway Station. The last bus to the Bus Station is 21:16 at Livingston South Railway Station. There is also a well-serviced bus stop in Dedridge (at the end of Nigel Rise) that is well connected to Edinburgh. First Buses operate this route, please check their timetable for up to date times.
